I myself have already made the switch to the Tablet PC world, at first with a bit of reluctance but now with no regrets. I firmly believe that Tablet PCs are one of the best technological advancements of our time, and one that I am a true fan of.

As a writer, I need to be able to access files and documents on my computer and make jot notes whenever an idea strikes me, and my notebook was simply not able to offer me this.
Once I decided to purchase a Tablet PC, I immediately understood what all those Tablet PC researchers and reviewers had been talking about. The compact design of the convertibles are perfect for me, and allow me to compute in tight spaces and even when I have only one hand free for typing.
There are even some Tablet PCs on the market today that come with hand straps, and this ensures that you have a firm grip on your Tablet PC at all times and that it will not go tumbling even if your hand slips.
I also adore the fact that you can really humanize your work with a Tablet PC. I can give my signature, make notes with the stylus pen when I only have one hand to work with, and even just doodle when I am bored and dealing with writer’s block - which happens quite often, let me tell you.
I love this feature of the Tablet PCs, possibly more than any other, because this is not something that you are offered from desktops or notebooks, no matter how many fancy gadgets and gizmos continue to be released for them. I love that the Tablet PCs make things more personal and allow me to keep more of my individuality even though I work on a computer 23 hours out of the day.
Choose the Right Tablet PC
There are a few Tablet PCs in particular that I personally favor, but what is right for me may not be best for you.
It is important that you take time to learn about the selection that is available to you and to choose the Tablet PC that is going to be best suited to you and your needs.
Tablet PCs are devices that really allow you to experience a whole new level of productivity and mobility. They bring together the features and components that really matter and always in a sleek, stylish design.
Although I still consider myself as somewhat of a newcomer to the Tablet PC world, I am definitely a part of it nonetheless and plan to be a lifelong Tablet PC fan.
